Latest Updates from Our Project:

01.12.23 Shipping out has begun!
10 days ago – Fri, Dec 01, 2023 at 01:12:57 AM

Hello all,

Shipping in the UK and in Europe has already begun. Books are en route to Australia, and the USA and Canada books are at the distribution centre in New York being prepped for dispatch.

Those of you who ordered the Audio book will get that in the new year, as it takes a long time to record these books professionally and I've had a month of 'winter flu'.

This Kickstarter is nearly finished and done and it is only thanks to the mammoth efforts of Derrick, our shipping goblin, that we have got to this point! So, a big thank you to Derrick.

I'll keep you posted but I'm hoping my next update will also be my last update for this project. Once shipping is complete, we'll open up hardcopy sales on our online store.

Thank you all for your support and patience on this,

14.11.23 Customs, Christmas, and excitement
26 days ago – Tue, Nov 14, 2023 at 11:57:22 AM

Hello all,

Well the books are in various warehouses, and stuck inside a cargo container on a dock in New York. We've got an email chain that's over 22 back and forth mails from the past week trying to work out how to speed up the process. So far, all we've been told is: to hurry up and wait.

In the EU and in the UK there has been a slight delay because of a new method of handling orders. Some of you may get an email in the next few days asking you to confirm your addresses (this is mainly in the EU, although some in the UK might happen). Special characters appear to have been a bugbear in the new system currently being used by our supplier. This was not something we'd been warned about and is new to the whole process. But we expect it to be cleared within the week.

For the USA and Canada the container is in New York but customs are holding it. They hope to clear through it in the next week...or two. We're trying everything we can to make it move forward but it's government so it moves as it does. We will let you know as soon as possible the moment we hear anything from him.

This means we are expecting you to get delivery of your books in December this year so there is something to cheer about.

I'll keep you posted on any new information,

13.10.23 Shipping has started!
about 2 months ago – Fri, Oct 13, 2023 at 07:08:55 AM

Hello all,

The physical copies have arrived at the depots. Now begins the big task of unwrapping the bulk books, sorting them into individual orders, packaging the orders and finally posting them to you!

The benefit of being one of the authors is that I get an advanced copy shipped directly from Poland. The book looks just beautiful and I can't wait to use it in my own games. Yes. I'll be dipping into this resource - it's why I wanted to write it! To have it at my table!

The ship travelling from Europe is expected to arrive in New York harbor on the 31st of October, but there is always a week either side for bad weather etc.

Customs will need to clear the container and then USA and Canada shipping can begin!

I'll keep you posted,

Guy and the team

05.10.23 Printing is complete...
2 months ago – Thu, Oct 05, 2023 at 07:06:29 AM

Hello all,

And only 25 days ahead of schedule! What this means is that now the books will begin their long journeys. Paperwork is being filled in and that means by mid-late next week the books will leave the printers bound for Germany, the UK, and the USA.

Once they arrive they'll then be packaged up and shipped out to you! If you're in Europe your books will come from the German depot. If you're in the UK, Australia or New Zealand your books will ship from the UK, and if you're in the USA or Canada, your books will ship from the USA office in New York.

When exactly will shipping start?

This is a loaded question. Customs Officials have to check each shipment through their borders and this can take days or weeks. The depots will ship the books as soon as they possibly can, again, paperwork must be checked first and then shipping can begin.

In short your book will be shipped as soon as is safely possible once they've arrived at the depots. By safely I mean: addresses are checked, books are packaged and wrapped, and all is solid with the package.

What's next?

We'll update you again once the shipping process has begun. I'm expecting this to be sometime in November. We're now 25 days AHEAD of where we thought we'd be, so I hope to keep this momentum up to get all books out before Xmas!

01.10.23 Mage Hunter TTRPG
2 months ago – Sun, Oct 01, 2023 at 10:44:32 AM

Hello all,

Whilst Epic Locations is being printed (and nearing the end of the printing process!), we thought it a good idea to let you know about Guy's next book: Mage Hunter. This is a diceless, fantasy TTRPG. That's right: it's diceless!

How it works, and all the details can be found tomorrow at 8pm BST / noon PST in a LIVE stream on Guy's channel. If you're looking for a fast paced, dark fantasy TTRPG that focuses on narrative choice rather than random outcome, yet is tense, intense and dynamic watch the show tomorrow or head on over to the Kickstarter page, linked below.

Click the link to follow the Kickstarter!

We'll keep you posted about the progress of Epic Locations as soon as the books leave the printing floor!

Until then,

Happy gaming!

Guy, Till, and the team.
